Neighborhood Chocolate Cake

So Mrs. Corrigan once submitted this easy and killer chocolate cake recipe to our neighborhood “newspaper” back when we kids were doing something productive! She later said she didn’t remember the recipe, but we did, because we made it a lot after it was published. It’s super-easy, but it is “jazzed” up just enough to make it delicious! I have also changed it up a bit with different frostings, or even different kinds of chocolate chips (think about peanut butter chips or white chocolate chips, for example.
